TCS’s innovative educational model is called “SULAM”.

SULAM is the Hebrew word for “ladder” and we chose it as an acronym for: Source for Understanding, Learning, And Meaning.

Our goals for Sulam are:

• To maximize student engagement in the content learned
  through experiential learning (learning through doing) and project based learning.
• To build and strengthen a school community, and connect with the temple and wider community.
• To have our students find their personal connection to Judaism through exploring Torah, Jewish holidays, history, traditions, and Jewish values.
