Join us for an evening of introspection and transformation as we spend the last Shabbat of the Jewish year together Movie from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm “Into the Woods,” the fairy-tale musical written by the award-winning team of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, is one of Sondheim’s most frequently performed works. The story intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault fairy tales, but at its core, it is not so much about fantasy as it is about reality. Together with Rabbi Ken we will decipher the messages in this film: absence of absolutes, tolerance and understanding, and challenging the assumptions we make about ourselves and others. Dinner will include vegetarian Chinese: members $20, non-members $25. Please sign-up here.
S’lichot Service at 9:00 pm no fee and open to everyone
