The Book Club selection “Out of Egypt” by Andre Aciman will be discussed on May 5th at the home of Esta Jacobs ( 23 Arborway) at 7:30pm.The author has written a touching and affectionate portrait detailing the lives of his flamboyant Jewish family, from its bold arrival in Alexandria to its defeated exodus three generations later. Aciman introduces us to the marvelous eccentrics who shaped his life — his uncle, two grandmothers, and an aunt.
