Teen Oasis

Topics will be drawn from Israeli history, geography and culture, so students can understand and speak intelligently about what is going on there. They’ll celebrate the accomplishments and beauties of Israeli culture, clarify their own personal connection and point of view on Israel, and become familiar with both Israeli and Palestinian narratives of the history of the region. We’ll also learn to look critically at social media and advocacy on both sides of Israel-Palestinian situation. This course is a golden opportunity for teens to learn about Israel in a safe and supportive environment, before getting to college.
