Senior Chai
Open to all TCS members 60 and over

Who We Are
Senior Chai is made up of Temple members 60 and over. Currently we represent more than half of our Temple’s membership. We plan to get together at least once a quarter, sometimes it’s lunch and sometimes a play. We recently went to Temple Sinai and watched a play performed by the New England Repertory Theater group followed by dinner at the La Familia Restaurant in Easton and enjoyed a spirited and interesting a discussion of the play.
We meet as a group at the beginning of the Temple year in September/October to discuss ideas and ways we would like to get together and ideas for activities in the coming year. This year, we will do it with a “Kick Off the Season” pot-luck brunch. We’re also currently planning a visit to the first Jewish Temple in America, the Touro Synagogue in Newport, RI, follwoed by a delicious lunch.
