Welcome to Temple Chayai Shalom. We are an egalitarian congregation affiliated with the Reform movement, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations (UAHC).

Membership at Temple Chayai Shalom provides an opportunity for individuals and families to worship together. Our goal is the continuation of the Jewish experience and its traditions.  We offer something for everyone.   

Our Rabbi, Jodi Seewald Smith, brings to us knowledge and enthusiasm for the Torah, Jewish history, and folklore. Shabbat and holiday services are family oriented and filled with inspiration, music, and traditional readings in Hebrew and English. Services are informal and are designed to encourage member participation. Special "tot shabbat" services are held once a month to encourage participation by our families with young children.
